Finished Veggies

So, quite a few posts back, I had blogged about some knitted vegetables that I had been working on. There was a whole slew of them, and I think when I posted last, I still had 3 or 4 to go.

Well, I am proud to say that I completed the entire set of vegetables:

From left to right: closed pea pod, open pea pod, eggplant, garlic, carrot, cucumber, & tomato

Here's a couple of individual shots of the veggies knitted since the last post:

They were tricky little suckers...all knit 'in the round', but I learned a lot of new techniques and I just think they are so darn cute! :)

I actually mailed them off to a friend of mine, whose little boy appears to be in the stage where he is learning to identify things/ I thought that these would be a good way for him to learn his vegetables. I hope he has fun with them!

  1. You are CRAZY talented! They are awesome, Kristin! I plan on posting a video when he gets good with identifying them.

  2. Aww, thanks! Oh good! I'd love to see another video, especially featuring the veggies! :)
