She was born at 12:12 am (6/20) - 7 lbs., 1 oz., 20 in.!! PERFECT! :)

I don't know if you can tell or not, but I have a hard time even describing how amazing this organization is!! Ashley & The Shine Project are making a HUGE difference in teens' lives!

So I actually filmed this last night, and if you were wondering if I really went to the putt putt golf place, here's my proof...

Definitely didn't make 'pro par'...closer to 'amateur par'...maybe I'm a little rusty?! ;)

Stop & Smell the Roses Vlog: Week 14, Vol. 7

I was so sad last Wednesday because I wasn't able to link-up with Mandy over at House of Rose for the weekly Stop & Smell the Roses post! :( First of all, I was scheduled to blog about the book review, and second, I was traveling back to Charlotte from a work trip. So, although I had great intentions of filming it a little later that night and posting it a bit later, it just didn't happen.

BUT, I'm back this week...

I don't think they still have it in stock, but I think they also have some other versions of this necklace at Bridier Baubles (great stuff)

Stop & Smell the Roses Vlog: Week 10, Vol. 4

It's that time again....

This is my 4th week in a row, linking up with Mandy over at House of Rose for "Stop & Smell the Roses"...I am having so much fun filming my vlogs (I even did a little editing to this week's!!) and watching others' videos to find out what everyone's thankful for each week.
So everyone, keep it up! :)

I'm assuming most people have heard of Erin Condren (she is pretty well known in the blogging/crafting community) and her collection of personalized stationery and amazing products, which include:

• life planners (like the one I'm showing in the video)
• announcements
•  calendars
• growth charts
• and much, much more

In fact, it was totally by coincidence, but as I was filming this video and writing up this blog, an email went out from Erin announcing her new kitchen/cooking line

The announcement also included the awesome savings code..so take advantage of it!

So there you have it...isn't it great to have motivational support when you're working hard towards your goals, whether it's a fitness goal or any other type of goal. That motivational support really makes you feel like you can do anything you put your mind to!

The group I referenced in the video is called FitFace, currently at 271 members. Join their group on Facebook, leave me a message letting me know you want to join and I'll invite you! Curt & Traci (my BIL & SIL) put a lot of work into this group - connecting with people, training together, and even creating challenges and events that you can participate in from anywhere. The current challenge is a Plank Hold Challenge - doesn't that sound like fun?! :)
